In Vesterbro, Copenhagen, artist and PR & Community Manager, Simone Noa lives with her family in a 100 sqm apartment, surrounded by curated pieces and bathed in soft pastels, creating a warm and gentle space that feels soothing to come home to.
To Simone Noa a home is not a place of perfection styled only for show.
It’s about being surrounded, not by things, but objects that feel meaningful: inspiring books, art that makes her happy to look at, space for her daughter to play.
“My style is a mix of classics and vintage. I love objects with history or character - pieces that bring a bit of personality.
I want my home to feel like it has a personality of its own, but also to be a space where life has enough room to actually happen.”

Simone Noa uses colours intentionally to make a space feel gentle and easy to be in, in which lighting plays a key role.

“I like it when lighting supports the atmosphere quietly, without taking over.
Lighting can completely change how a space feels, so I try to choose lamps based on what the room needs. I also enjoy playing with placement.
PH 5 lamps are usually hung low over dining tables, but we’ve chosen to use one differently - in the kitchen, hung higher and closer to the ceiling.”

The quirky yet elegant atmosphere at the Copenhagen apartment is complemented by a selection of heritage Louis Poulsen lamps.

“To me, Louis Poulsen feels very tied to Danish design heritage, there’s something comforting and familiar about it. It’s nostalgic in a way, but still modern.
The designs feel thoughtful and lasting, pieces that move with you through life.”
“Something I really appreciate about Louis Poulsen lamps is that they adapt so naturally to different spaces, they don’t overpower a room, they just blend in and elevate it.
That quiet elegance makes them feel at home in many different interiors. Like the Snowball above our dining table. It has this soft playfulness to it, and I just love the way it catches the sunlight.”

“These days, my life is very rhythm-based, because my daughter is still little.
Creativity often happens in the small pockets of time in between - sometimes in the evenings, sometimes on weekends. I try not to force it, but to let it show up when there’s space.
