The architects behind this new Madrid café and bakery have created a space that is both playful and indulgent. To complement their concept, they chose Louis Poulsen’s Cirque pendant, whose pastel colours and lively design could hardly be a more perfect fit for Juana Limón.

The team from Lucas y Hernández Gil Arquitectos were inspired by baking, to create a look that captures people’s attention – and imagination. The interior uses pastel shades inspired by baking ingredients like flour, butter and icing.
The display counter is clad in pale yellow tiles, while the floors are in whitewashed wood, and walls are finished in a similar effect. The whole place feels like you could reach out and take a bite out of it. With Cirque, the architects were able to incorporate Juana Limón’s lighting in this concept.
