Buildings and Spaces

At Louis Poulsen we design products that provide exceptional light, that helps create spaces for people to thrive in. Since many people spend up to as much of 90% of their time indoors, it is important to ensure that spaces are equipped with lighting that not only creates a productive and comfortable environment, but also can support the human circadian rhythm. At Louis Poulsen we provide architectural lighting for a variety of different application areas including offices, healthcare, education, hospitality, outdoor spaces and cultural institutions.

Contemporary Functional Lighting

Creating lighting that complements the interior design aesthetic while providing exceptional light for the intended purpose of the space, requires careful consideration of not only the aesthetic but also the functionality.

We strive to create modern yet timeless fixtures that provide soft general light as well as optimal working light. As such we design our products with even the smallest details in mind to ensure effective and aesthetic architectural lighting.

Aesthetic architectural lighting

At Louis Poulsen, we are aware of the challenge that lies in maintaining the same visual identity in a building with many different rooms and functions. That’s why we endeavour to ensure that our architectural lighting products have a simple and elegant design language, that is applicable to many functions and can be customised to suit the specific project requirements.
