PH Centenary

The PH Centenary collection is a heritage collection launched by Louis Poulsen to honour the enduring principles of the System PH, still relevant 100 years after its invention.

Crafted in lacquered aged brass and with combinations of white opal and coloured glass, the collection integrates both classic and archival PH designs.

100 years of System PH

In 1926, Poul Henningsen invented a shade system that could shape light to avoid glare. A well-engineered system of three-shade constructions, that came to revolutionise the way we perceive lighting.

The master of light

The lighting philosophy of Poul Henningsen is seamlessly integrated with that of Louis Poulsen, and through their partnership Poul Henningsen developed multiple iconic design solidifying Poul Henningsen’s legacy as the Original Master of Light.

As part of the celebratory PH Centenary collection, all PH 1/1 Chandelier purchases are accompanied by a free PH Centenary poster featuring an original System PH illustration by Poul Henningsen.
