About the PH 2/2 Luna Aged Brass Opal Table Lamp

As its poetically nocturnal name hints, the PH 2/2 Luna was known as “the bedside lamp” when it first saw the light of day in the late 1930s. Not only is it an excellent reading lamp, but the PH 2/2 Luna also emits a soft, calming ambience, perfect for when the day is winding down, just as Poul Henningsen intended.

Framed in lacquered aged brass, the table lamp will preserve its unique appearance and character. Poul Henningsen

Poul Henningsen was born in Copenhagen by the famous Danish actress Agnes Henningsen. He never graduated as an architect, but studied at The Technical School at Frederiksberg, Denmark from 1911-14, and then at Technical College in Copenhagen from 1914-17.
