Into the Shades
For 3daysofdesign 2026, Louis Poulsen presented “Into the Shades”, a large-scale installation, created by design-built company Penny, as an interpretation of the iconic three shades of the System PH.
With its open construction and fabric elements, the installation invited visitors to step inside and see the movement of light and shadow, just like Poul Henningsen had envisioned.
Louis Poulsen & La Glace pop-up
Together with Louis Poulsen, heritage patisserie La Glace presented their first ever pop-up café.
An inviting installation, completely transforming the small hut at the centre of Kuglegården.
Here, visitors could enjoy a curated experience combining excellent lighting and renowned pastries under the breeze of the courtyard trees.
Design talks
Four sold out design talks seated more than 200 visitors at Louis Poulsen during the festival.
Here, the audience could experience a documentary-style investigation of Poul Henningsen moderated by his great-grandson Mads Wille; and an inspiring talk by renowned Danish architect and urban designer Jan Gehl.
