The hotel is owned by art collector Michael Kaune, who runs the German Qvest Magazine. His impressive collection of photographs, modern art and furniture by such designers as Arne Jacobsen, Mies van der Rohe and Verner Panton provides a consistent design theme throughout the hotel, adding to its unique atmosphere.
