The old radio station in the heart of Munich was transformed into an inviting and innovative living space by Cédric Davies' design concept. For the lighting of the square, the choice included Nest post tops and Flindt bollards from Louis Poulsen. The Nest post top has the impression of a stylized treetop growing out of the steel trunk. The whole design presents itself as filigree as a leafless tree in winter, which carries a disc with life-giving light. The design of the Flindt bollard is reminiscent of the shape of carved wood. The result is a lighting tool that is convincing: simple in form, glare-free in the light, architectural in use. The luminaire emits asymmetrical, glare-free light broadly downwards. The use of two LED light sources optimizes the emission of light and directs it to the sides by the shape of the cut-out >180°.
