The Toldbod lamp has many characteristics. It is robust and yet unobtrusive. With its simple, neutral shape, it adapts to any environment. The light is directed completely downwards. Thanks to the matt white interior of the shade, it emits a soft, diffuse and pleasant light.
It was precisely this property that was in demand for the exterior design of the Bolligen school complex. The school area is in the middle of a residential area and the light emission should be as low as possible. The entrances to the school and the sports facilities as well as the squares are optimally and atmospherically illuminated with the Toldbod mast luminaires without wasting light. In interaction with the architecture, the mast or light point height was also aligned exactly with the height of the building, so that the buildings and luminaires are combined to form a whole. The Flindt bollard light is an ideal complement for the sidewalks, both aesthetically and functionally. Incidentally, the color of the masts and bollards is structured in aluminum to match the exposed concrete surfaces. This is also possible on request.
