The Danish design studio Kilo Design has created a suspension system, a modular system that can be used and customised for different applications.
Dependant allows for custom configuration of multiple pendants that delivers great impact with minimal effort, accentuating the lighting both in hospitality, office and commercial spaces and retail environments.
Designed for flexible use in a variety of settings, the adaptable suspension system comes in a linear version, which holds three or five pendants and in a circular version that can hold four or six pendants.
“The design was inspired by the iconic pendants that will be suspended within the system. The system’s structures and transitions take cues from the design language you will find if you dive into the Louis Poulsen pendant collection. It was very important for us to create a system that would complement and feel familiar when used together with the pendants”,

The Dependant system comes in a black, white or with a brass metallised finish and combined with the diversity of the pendant designs, the appearance can be varied almost endlessly.
