Louis Poulsen representation
Louis Poulsen representation means that you now represent the entire line of decorative and architectural products. Your ONE SOURCE for information is found at www.louispoulsen.com
This includes all indoor and outdoor products.
Our warehouse is located in Virginia and supports all products made under the Louis Poulsen brand. This will allow you to ship many decorative products in 2-3 days instead of the 10-12 weeks that you have experienced prior to the brand merger.
Made to order products will arrive by container via sea freight to our warehouse and be re-distributed to your customers requested address.
Showrooms and e-commerce accounts are not part of your responsibility. We also have a national account presence and feel free to provide us with your national accounts so that we can give you proper credit.
Pricing
We have issued a LIST PRICE SHEET.
For a 10% commission price you can multiply this price x .55 (45% off).
Our overage split is 90% rep / 10% factory. AT NO TIME CAN THE PRICE CHARGED BE OVER THE LIST PRICE OF THE PRODUCT.
Overage dollars are only paid to the rep who places the order unless otherwise agreed to and approved.
Commission Splits:
50% spec credit, 20% order credit, 30% destination credit. We recognize that the spec credit may be split 2 ways ie: architect/lighting designer. In those cases spec credit for each will be 25%/25%.
If the reps involved agree to an alternative split then it must be approved prior to order entry.
Freight
For domestic orders in the Continental US under $5,000 a flat charge of 7% of the DN order value will be charged to cover ground freight (our carrier choice). For Canada use 15%.
For domestic orders over in the Continental US over $5,000 ground freight will be included in the price (our carrier choice). This will include any required Call-Before or lift gate fees on LTL freight.
Single shipments per order are covered. We reserve the right to charge add-on costs if multiple shipments are requested by the customer.
For air shipments from our warehouse in Virginia, please consult customer service.
At any time a customer may provide us their own carrier and account number and we can arrange an X-Works shipment from our warehouse in Virginia. Consult customer service at time of order. No additional discounts to product pricing will be provided.

We will make a Salesforce entry of your registration and cc you as well as the territory agent within a few days.
Returns & warranty
Louis Poulsen products are generally not returnable except where the product is defective out of the box.
Since we offer many finishes and sizes please make certain that you are ordering the proper product, and double check the acknowledgement.
Freight damage should be reported to the shipper immediately and a claim made with them first, copying customer service.
Our standard warranty is 5 years excluding drivers. Portable lamps are 2 years. This covers replacement material only and not installation.
If you need an extended warranty, we must have variant numbers and quantities prior to bid, and corporate approval before issuing any commitment.

Product or color samples & accommodation sales
We will endeavor to always provide you with project samples free of charge. Many times a color swatch is the only thing required and we have now partnered with Material Bank to allow your designers access to color finishes and full-size product drawings. Consult Sales for consideration on product sample requests.
If you would like to order a sample to give to specifier as a gift, or if your specifier would like to order fixtures for their personal use, you can provide them with a 50% off list price and that will include shipping within the continental US. Tax will be added, and a payment portal will be issued with the acknowledgement for Credit Card payment.
