Louis Poulsen x Louis Poulsen - Radio House Scented Candle
About the Louis Poulsen x Louis Poulsen - Radio House Scented Candle
Created in collaboration with Louis Poulsen, the Radio House candle is inspired by Radiohuset in Copenhagen, one of Vilhelm Lauritzen’s most celebrated works. Designed by Elsewhere founder Ethan Gaskill and perfumer Jacqueline Steele, it captures the feeling of sitting in the concert hall just before the show begins.
The details you’d notice if you were there.
Crushed velvet recalls the soft seats and drapery of the hall. Warm static echoes the faint electric warmth of audio equipment and the VL 45 Radiohus itself, which was originally designed for this very space.
Warmth of wood.
Beneath it all sits a wood accord built from craftsman’s woods like cedar and oak, bringing the polished but natural textures of the interior to life.
A moment of anticipation.
The lights dim, you settle into your seat, and there’s a coziness to the room, with a buzz of excitement just beneath it. Bring that feeling home, to the office, or to the moments before friends arrive for dinner.- Other informationThe candle provides approximately 50 hours of burn time. The quality of the wax ensures that the candle burns evenly.
