LP Circle V2

The basic idea for LP Circle were born out of the experience with the Ørestad School OreLED fixture. Mikkel Beedholm of KHR arkitekter explains the design idea: “The aim was for the fixture to not simply slice through the ceiling like a tin can – we wanted the collar to give the fixture character and interplay with the building’s architecture, adding an extra dimension to the interior through randomised reflection of the light. The choice of colors has also been unusual for a ceiling fixture. The colored rings improves the effect of reducing glare and highlighting the shape of the luminaire. They also add color to what are often colorless rooms, in both their lit and unlit state.”
