General kitchen lighting

It goes without saying that you want to be able to see what you’re doing, when you’re preparing a meal in the kitchen. That’s why choosing a good general lighting is very important. A ceiling pendant fitted with a light bulb with a high CRI which more accurately renders every colour in the visible spectrum will provide exceptional light for preparing delicious meals.

Countertop lighting

When cooking, the kitchen countertop should be well-lit with downward directed light that provides an even and consistent level of light. Well-placed lamps should help to omit the number of shadows created, in turn making it easier for you to see when preparing food.

Creating an atmosphere in the kitchen

Many of us spend a lot of time in our kitchens, so having exceptional light is important. Just as in other rooms in the home, it is important top have several light sources to provide the best lighting and create an atmosphere.
