When one of the main streets in Lunderskov needed to be improved and renewed, Kolding City Council chose the Homann Park fixture as it lived up to requirements for design, technicality and price.
A detailed plan was put together for the positioning of the fixtures, where both distance and height were considered in relation to the road surface and the plans for the area, which included both a carpark, trees, crossings and a requirement that the posts should be placed in between plots, rather than in the centre of them.
These requirements and considerations led to a solution that included placing the fixtures in a zig zag pattern on either side of the road, which was supported by the lighting calculations. This approach was tested in April of 2019, where both the design of the fixture, the illumination and the project were approved.
In August 2021, it was decided that the same solution should be used for the main square in Lunderskov. So today, there are 27 Homann Park fixtures, illuminating Storegade in Lunderskov and 21 in the main square.
