Located in the metropolitan area of Amsterdam, Gemeente Diemen is a residential, suburban area with a population of just over 30,000 people. Since 2012, Louis Poulsen and the municipality of the Gemeente Diemen have collaborated on outdoor lighting projects which have included both Kipp Post and LP Icon fixtures being installed to ensure glare-free, timeless lighting around the municipality.
In the most recent development in an area called Holland Park, the LP Icon has been installed with Smart City features such as the Dazzletek system (now represented by Sustainder), with a Lighting Control Module in the fixture that users can connect to using a gateway.
