Mon Oncle in Oslo is the latest addition to a number of well-known and popular restaurants run by head chef Esben Holmboe Bang. Serving high quality French cuisine, in a fun and decadent atmosphere, nothing here is left to chance. Floating elegantly above the round marble tables, the PH 5 in Hues of Rose provides a soft, downward directed light, accentuating the intimate ambience created by the curtains surrounding the tables.
For this project, modifications were made to the PH 5, which in this case is fitted with a halogen light source that directs the light downward and minimises uplight of the lamp itself.
The recommended light source for this fixture is an E27, which will light the lamp up, as intended in Poul Henningsen’s original design.
