TRÆ in Aarhus is set to become Denmark’s tallest timber structure, a 78-metre landmark built on principles of circular construction and resource efficiency. A significant share of the building’s materials comes from reclaimed or surplus sources, all tested to meet modern safety and performance standards.
Louis Poulsen contributes lighting solutions that complement both the architectural expression and the project’s sustainable vision. PH 5 Retake, made from recycled materials, supports circularity in design. Slim Round Raw introduces a refined, minimal aesthetic that harmonises with TRÆ’s natural surfaces, while Patera adds a sculptural presence to shared spaces. Together, these solutions demonstrate how lighting can strengthen sustainable building practices.
