Bollards

Illuminated landscapes

Whether we talk about the rural town square, the metropolitan centre, the campus area, the pier, or the city park, both aesthetics and functionality need to go hand in hand. Landscape lighting is critical for making a space useful after dark and for our safety. But it is also important to underline the identity of a place and to create an inviting atmosphere in recreational, residential, commercial and public spaces.

Bollards on parade

Light bollards are discrete little helpers that can illuminate steps, underline areas of different use and emphasize level changes. They ensure visibility next to paths, piers and passages so we can feel safe in the dark. And not least do they establish a comfortable, non-disturbing atmosphere and sense of place, which, thanks to their low height, don’t interrupt our view on the surroundings.

Design to Shape Light

Louis Poulsen has always sought, not only to design lamps, but also to shape light and create an atmosphere that makes people feel good, both in- and outdoors. The shape of light creates space and our products should live harmoniously within the space they define - indirect, soft and inviting.

Stylish and sturdy

Our bollards come in a variety of designs, making it easy to find the perfect shape and light distribution that fits with the architecture of any project.

Because of their low height, bollards are obvious targets for vandalism and they are more exposed to moisture and dust than other outdoor fixtures. All our bollards are designed with focus on both aesthetics and robustness. The manufacturing is of high quality and the materials are carefully selected to withstand anything that may threat them outdoors.

Norwegian town Larvik

Flindt steps up the atmosphere in Larvik

In the hilly Norwegian town Larvik a square has been reborn. The new gathering point consists of open and inviting amphitheatre stairs, allowing people to criss-cross the square or sit down on one of the many steps. The beautiful larvikite creates a vivid pattern lit by the new Flindt bollards. Flindt leads the way whichever route people choose and has given the square a vital boost both day and night.
